Merry Christmas!
Hello one and all. First off I'd like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, I'd then like to try and get you all to feel sorry for me by telling you all that I'm straight back at work today.
That's right while everybody else was asleep in the house I had to tip toe around being as quiet as possible so as not to wake anybody up. What made it even worse was I got Cujo up with me to take her out to the toilet then afterwards she gave me a sidelong glance then scampered back upstairs to bed. You'd think she could of at least waited until I left for work.
I hope you got a lot of cool presents for Christmas, me and Katie got lots of games of various types so we've spent the last couple of days engrossed in various board and card games; it's been a lot of fun. So a big thank you to everybody who sent us gifts.
Also I'm trying to get back into doing some Flash work, mostly game work. This involves a lot more actionscript coding then the usual few lines I'm used to doing and is therefore a lot more intresting (and frustrating!) to do. You'll have noticed I stuck up one a while ago called "Astro Archer" my intention was to do these games and then write up a brief tutorial on how they were done, as much as an additional memory exercise for me to remember how I did it as an actual tutorial for anybody else to use. That tutorial is part written and I'm hoping to get it finished soon, unfortunately I tend to do stuff like that at work during lunch times and we're very busy rolling out a new system so I'm not actually getting any lunch breaks at the moment (**pause for big awwww**), but hopefully I may have some time in the next few days when we're less busy to bang it out and get it uploaded otherwise it'll be a few months before I get it up.
The roll out at work is also why updates have been a bit sparse I've pretty much been super busy at work and then by the time I get home I literally have no energy to do anything and just collapse in front of the TV or just play a (slow paced) game on the computer and let my mind vegetate for a while. We should be done with the update in a few months though so hopefully I'll have some more time and energy to do stuff then.
Anyho if in case I don't see you before the new year internet I'll wish you a big "Happy New Year" now and catch you on the flip flop.
