The Emerald lady

It's My Dying Bride on stage. She's the most gorgeous creature you’ve ever seen, talking to a friend of mine. I don't know why but I'm feeling chancy and go over and talk to her.

Every things going great, we talk through the night and it goes past in a blur. She's Irish and is nice enough not to take the piss too much when I do that thing of attempting to match someones accent and it going horribly wrong, I ended up talking with a scottish slant. We end up walking to the taxi rank at the the end of the night. But she's staying with mutual friends and is going in completely the opposite direction and sadly we must part ways, and leave the night with the now oh so familiar look of "I was so looking forward to doing the sex thing with you" on both our faces. Asking her what the chances of seeing her again she tells me she's heading back to Ireland and probably wouldn’t see me again.
