Improving peoples moods at work Pt.1
A Spoonful of Sugar helps the medicine go down.

Turning up to work this morning my enslaved in the helpdesk colleague greeted me with his usual nod and told me I looked like shit - which was just how I felt, strange I don't remember drinking the much last night, the time pixies must have been at it again. He then went on to remind me that this afternoon our team had to present our individual projects that we'd been assigned to do. Bugger.

So a hectic day spent writing up project scopes and brief for the higher ups and with a hour left I decide that what I've come up with is on the whole complete and utter rubbish, Christ what I'm I going to do! However as cunning as I always am I realise that I'm presenting to management type people therefore it doesn't matter on actual content just so long as I dazzle them with eye candy. So thirty minutes later I've laid out a impressive visual treat in flash that will have management so impressed at the style they won't realise the rubbish I'm presenting to them. Except it's missing something, they're bound to be impressed with the style but I need to leave them with a warm fuzzy feeling inside about it, and I've got just the thing.

After the presentation my coworker asked me:

"how did you manage to get the management so happy with your presentation when all you were showing them was drivel."
"Arr well my old mucker it's all in the presentation"
"Yeah but I did a funky Powerpoint presentation and I had content in mine as well, so what was it"
"Subliminal messaging mate"
"What!?"
"I added quick frames in of baby badger, puppies that sort of thing"
"Your a genius"

Yes I am.

Note to Self RE: Old habits?

I thought we'd sorted this out stop it.

You know with the depression and the rest of it, it's not helping.
