How I Know
It's not easy you know, athletes practice everyday, they work hard at it. It's a life for them They train daily. You've got to wonder what keeps them going.
It's the same thing that keeps me going. I know I'm a musician, admittedly performance based musician less technical and brilliant then I'd like but I was made to be on the stage. I know this because if I'm not on the stage performing, I feel like something is missing.
It's been far to long since I've played on a stage to people and I feel a deep rift in me. I do find it bizarre that such a simple fact can be true for me, I'd like to say I'm more complicated but that's not the case. It's simple, I need to play, it's a compunction. That's how I know I'm a musician.
