Urban Climbing.

So their I was minding my own business at home when Jez calls me up to ask if I fancy going for a swift half down at Fannys with him and Steve, although I currently have very little money I'm not going to pass up a chance to go and have some nice ales. So off I toddle down to imbibe in some lovely ales.

Several Old Perculiers later I find that somewhere along the lines we've changed location and are now in the GasWorks in town and I'm drinking lots of cheap beers and shots.

Sometime later and it's half one in the morning and I'm standing outside my front door trying to gain admitance to the premisis, unfortunatly some bint has got home before me locked the door and left the keys in the lock. So I've been trying to nudge the keys out with my own while simultaniously ringing the door bell. After about twenty minutes of doing this with no success from either I decide to take more direct action. When I was at school and I left my keys at the house I'd often need to break into my house this time would be even easier as I wouldn't have to break in just climb up and hammer on the bedroom window to wake up the occupants.

"Right so what was it I did again ah yes, it's just a quick run up the side of the neighbours wall then jump across onto our garage and pull myself up" (See I was free running before it was cool). Unfortunatly I'm not quiet as agile as when I was younger so the running up the wall wasn't as easy as it used to be. Thankfully nobody is around to see what happens. So dusting myself off I try for a differant tack and instead run along using the (overgrown and slippy) garden bench as a vaulting bench jump while slipping on it reach for the top of the garage and manage to land just enough fingers on one hand to give me time to bring the other hand up, grab, steady myself and say "Ow my knees". Right now then just the simple matter of pulling myself up. It would appear that I've put on a fair bit of weight recently so pulling myself up wasn't as easy as I'd hoped and I've now got cuts and scrapes down my arms but at least I'm up. Proceding towards the window I hammer upon it until someone finally looks out and goes down stairs to let me in. Right now to get down simple enough just do what I did in reverse, it doesn't work quiet like that and I do more of a controlled fall but at least I'm down.

Two days later my foot started to hurt. I can't walk on my heel as it just causes a dull throbbing pain in my entire foot. Could be a trapped nerve, something worse or nothing special so I guess I'll give it a few days I guess and see what happens then check with a Doctor.
