Monkey Shoot


Went down to the rehearsal room last night to get in a quick practice before the gig on Thursday, and possibly work on a new song, got a funky new bass part, but Faze where in there. To be fair they do need the practice more then us as they have a new bass player starting with them. So we decided to leave as we haven't properly sound proofed the rooms yet. We we're just about to call it a day when we decided to do the photo shoot for our soon to be released EP Monkey Disco

So it was a mad rush home to make myself look a little less like I'd just turned up at a rehearsal room where nobody would see me. Grab some extra things for the shoot and head off to the middle of the moors to try and find somewhere to setup and take the photos from. I can tell you it's no fun having to hike a hefty bass amp and drum kit all over moorland as your rapidly losing whatever light their is.

It's strange how many people you actually see in the middle of nowhere. People walking dogs, kids out on their scooters and Scout masters who've lost their cubs all paid us a vist at one time or another. Thankfully the weather was actually rather mild so it wasn't that cold, although taking the equipment back to the cars with no light was a bit of a death trap.
