We're Back!
Well blow me down! If this han't been a rather stressful and crazy month. My band, 6 Fingered Man(as I'm sure you're all aware of as I harp on about them often enough) had a major falling out. About what! I hear you cry? What could make such a bunch of close knit and tight friends, not to mention musical geniuses, fallout? Well it would appear that it is at the same time everything and nothing. Yeah I know I can tell by your "What choo talking 'bout Willis" look that that isn't making much sense so allow me to elaborate.
A little while back we all took a trip to Alton Towers, now then at the start of this trip things were said and stuff was done. I wasn't privy to any of this so can't really comment to indepthly on it. Oh ok I'll get a little way off my fence and tell you that there was a mix up of some kind, someone thought people we're waiting for them to travel down in convoy and other people thought this wasn't the case. This escalated into a huge argument. I know what your thinking you're thinking "quite frankly from what I can understand that sounds like a really pointless reason to have a argument" and you'd be right it is a really stupid thing to have a argument about. The real thing was as is always the case in such matters it was little things built up over a period of time to many a numorous to go into but I'm sure you get the idea.
For some reason this situation was left to fester and instead of sorting things out quickly and probably reasonably easily we left it for a month. Finally we all got together and sat down and rationally talked about things and basically said what we didn't like about each other - which would appear to be quite a lot! However we seem to of reached a compromise and should be back rocking out soon.
The real test will be how long we can all keep from getting on each others nerves and if we can resolve it sensably next time without all sulking about it and letting things get worse.
I'd just like to take this oppertunaty to thank the bands who offered me a bass playing position and the other chaps who we're going to let me be the singer/frontman for their band, it's good to know that there are alternatives but sorry guys I'm going to finger for a bit longer.
