It's probably the biggest most important question a guy will ask in their lives, and therefore logically it should also be the hardest.
However as I adjusted my tri-cornered hat, straightened my belts and hefted my musket giving myself a critical eying in the mirror I realised that while this was probably the most important question I would ask in my life it was also probably the easiest. After all I really love Katie, she's funny, witty, charming has near infinite patience when it comes to dealing with me and has the cutest little.....smile.
I put on my pirate coat and flicked away some imaginary dust on the lapel, I don't know why I'm the only one in the room, it just felt like it should be done. I inhale catch my eye in the mirror and mutter "ready".
I turn as Katie walks through the door dressed in a vampire out fit looking beautiful. The taxi will be here soon and it's now or never.......we stand there for a few moments that seems like an age.....then...."Katie; I've got a question I'd like to ask you."
