A quick visit to the nearest pub that does anything approching decent ale with some food (about a mile away, fannys is nearer with better ale but no food - yes we have a pub called fanny's) and my mood still hasn't improved - all those lovely ales being consummed without me, I can almost hear them calling to me.....
